Print-on-demand is a fantastic way to turn your creative ideas into passive income by creating designs for coffee mugs, shot glasses, t-shirts, and more that people can order online.
And the best part of working with POD designs and products is not having to worry about inventory or shipping. A POD service provider handles all of that for you.
Below, I’ve rounded up ten POD designs that require minimal effort but can yield impressive results. Each of the designs featured in this post has average monthly earnings of more than $1K, which could equal more than $12K a year of passive income from a single design. And all of the designs could be created in under ten minutes.
Whether you’re a seasoned POD seller or a newcomer, you’re sure to find something here that inspires you to create winning designs. (I also share the tool I use to check designs’ earning stats on Etsy, which is super helpful.)
I also made a video that I’ll post below – this should hopefully help give you lots of inspiration:
How to find winning Etsy POD designs (and see sales proof)
To see how many sales and how much revenue a particular design has made on Etsy, you can use a tool called EpicPODTool.com. Click Product Research then select Product Seeker.
From here, you can input the metrics you’re interested in – for example, a minimum monthly revenue of $1K. Hit the search button after you’ve input your desired metrics.
Next, you can sort through the search results by…
- price
- number of favorites
- number of monthly sales
- number of total sales
Then, just click on a design you want to know more about and you’ll be able to see the following information:
- monthly sales
- monthly revenue
- total sales
- total revenue
- price
- number of favorites
- age
- tags used

Hello,
I don’t see what the niche is in any ofbthese designs. Adam keeps telling us that we have to target a niche in our designs.
I see a contradiction here. Or I’m confused. Odilie Castro
Hey there, We didn’t specify any niches for these designs. These aren’t our designs. These are other people’s designs we found that are earning well.
Apart from mug 8 you can sell those mugs to niches
The niches I see are gifts for coworkers, boss, office gifts, birthday gifts, wedding anniversary, gift to mom, grandma, husband, wife
