How to set up listings for wholesale mugs on Etsy

Inside your Etsy Shop Manager, create a listing the way you normally would:

• Go to listings
• Click Add a listing
• Specify that it’s a physical item, you made it, it’s a finished product, and it’s made to order
• Select the appropriate production partner
• Click Continue
• Give your listing a title
• Upload photos
• Write a description
• Add a category and relevant attributes
• Come up with 13 tags
• Select a shipping option

What you want to do differently with your listings for wholesale mugs is select the Add variations button.

• Choose Create your own
• Name your variation something like Buy Multiple
• In the Options section, input the different quantity options customers have for buying your wholesale mugs (e.g. 6, 12, 36)
• Click Done
• Toggle on Prices vary and Quantities Vary
• Click Apply
• Specify the different pricing and quantity options

NOTE: I recommend offering a discount on your items depending on how many customers want to buy – for example, 10% off if they buy 6, 15% off if they buy 12, and 20% off if they buy 36.

Click Publish when you’re done.
